Job description
At Workstead, as an Intercedent you will be the connection between our clients in sectors such as Food, Logistics, Industry, Production and Technology, as well as our Romanian temporary workers. You are the first point of contact and guide them with care, so that everything runs smoothly and everyone feels appreciated. In this independent role, you have the space to really make a difference!

- Resolving problems at work or with accommodation: Whether it’s questions at work or challenges with accommodation, you are the point of contact and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Coordinating absenteeism and leave: If there are any absences or leaves of absence, you ensure proper planning and keep clients and temporary workers informed, so everyone knows where they stand.

Who you are:
As an Intercedent, you are a flexible and proactive professional who is fully committed to the well-being of our temporary workers and the satisfaction of our clients. You take your responsibility seriously and know how important it is to build a relationship of trust with both clients and employees. With your tactful approach and clear communication, you are the connecting factor that ensures everyone feels heard and problems are solved quickly.
Here’s what makes you the ideal candidate:
- Experience in the staffing industry: You already have experience in the staffing industry, so you will quickly find your way in this dynamic environment. Experience in the meat industry is an added bonus, as it provides insight into the specific challenges and requirements of clients within this sector.
- Customer focus and independence: You like to work customer-oriented and have a keen eye for their needs. You can work independently and know how to take initiative where necessary, so that both clients and temporary workers can count on you.
- Strong communication skills: Your communication style is clear and convincing, with a good dose of empathy. You know how to steer conversations in a pleasant way and make sure everyone feels understood, even when dealing with difficult subjects or under pressure.
- Language skills: You speak Romanian or Polish to support our temporary workers and make them feel at ease. You also speak Dutch or English for smooth communication with clients and colleagues.
- Driving license: You have a driver’s license, which gives you the flexibility to easily travel to clients, locations and accompany our flexworkers if necessary.
- Living in the Ede area: You live in the area, which means you can switch gears quickly and are always nearby to pick things up immediately.
