Job description:
At Workstead, as an Intercedent you will be the connection between our clients in sectors such as Food, Logistics, Industry, Production and Technology, as well as our Romanian temporary workers. You are the first point of contact and guide them with care, so that everything runs smoothly and everyone feels appreciated. In this independent role, you have the space to really make a difference!

• Resolving problems on the shop floor or with accommodation: Whether it’s questions on the shop floor or challenges with accommodation, you are the point of contact and resolve issues before they become problems.
• Coordinating absenteeism and leave: If there are any absences or leaves of absence, you ensure proper planning and keep clients and temporary workers informed, so everyone knows where they stand.

With your tactful approach and clear communication, you are the connecting factor that ensures everyone feels heard and problems are solved quickly.
 

Here’s what makes you the ideal candidate:

• Experience in the staffing industry: You already have experience in the staffing industry, so you will quickly find your way in this dynamic environment. Experience in the meat industry is an added bonus, as it provides insight into the specific challenges and requirements of clients within this sector.
• Customer focus and independence: You like to work customer-oriented and have a keen eye for their needs. You can work independently and know how to take initiative where necessary, so that both clients and temporary workers can count on you.
• Strong communication skills: Your communication style is clear and convincing, with a good dose of empathy. You know how to steer conversations in a pleasant way and make sure everyone feels understood, even when dealing with difficult subjects or under pressure.
• Language skills: you have a good command of Romanian, which is essential for putting our Romanian temps at ease. You also speak Dutch or English, so you can communicate well with clients and colleagues.
• Driving license: You have a driving license, which gives you the flexibility to easily travel to clients and locations and accompany our temps where necessary.
• Living in the Amsterdam area: You live in the area, which means you can switch gears quickly and are always nearby to pick things up immediately.
